NOTICE BOARD
Our next small group coffee morning (£10) will be held at Buckingham library on Thursday 16th July at 10.45am in the mezzanine room.
Our speaker will be Michael Bevington the recent archivist at Stowe House and his enthusiastic talk will be on John Vanbrugh whose tercentenary is this year.
VANBRUGH300 and Stowe
The talk will introduce a few aspects of the festival VANBRUGH300, a celebration for the tercentenary of the death of the architect Sir John Vanbrugh on 26th March 1726. It will focus on his work at Stowe House, one of the six houses selected for the nationwide events.
